I mapped how the leading wallets and DEXes handle swaps — not to copy patterns, but to find the assumption they share: that the user already knows what slippage is.

Casual users want a simple exchange. Active traders want charts and history. Instead of two products, the swap screen expands on click — and stays expanded by default if that’s how you trade. Each token’s performance is a toggle away.

Nobody should need to know what slippage tolerance is to be protected by it. Conservative presets are the default; the traders who want to override them know exactly where to look.

Solana’s long tail is full of unverified tokens. Each token links straight to the block explorer, so checking what you’re about to buy takes one tap — not a separate research session.

People think in dollars. Token prices move; dollar value is the stable reference — so the confirmation shows both, plus every fee, before anything is signed. In a domain built on transparency, the interface should be the most transparent part.
